How to choose a hat

This category covers the headwear in our catalog. Most pieces are caps, and you may come across structured baseball caps, relaxed dad hats and mesh-back trucker hats, plus other styles when a design calls for them. The listing title tells you which one you're viewing.

Printed or embroidered: what's the difference?

Some designs are printed directly onto the hat, which keeps thin lines and color gradients intact. Others are embroidered, with the design stitched in thread for a raised feel that stands up well to everyday wear. The listing says which method a design uses. Either way, your hat is decorated by our production partner after you check out.

Will it fit my head?

A lot of caps close at the back with a strap, buckle or snap, so one cap can fit many heads. If a listing offers set sizes instead, loop a soft sewing tape around your head where the hat would sit, roughly a finger's width over your eyebrows, then compare the number with our Fit & Sizing page.

Cleaning a hat

Dab away marks using a damp cloth with a drop of gentle soap instead of putting it through the washing machine. Let it air-dry over a rolled towel or an upturned bowl so the crown holds its shape, and keep it away from direct heat.
